In Honor of

Our Country’s Military Heroes

INDEPENDENCE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

Invites our Veterans and Active Duty Personnel

and their families to attend

Wednesday, November 12th

8:00 – 8:10 – Gather in our Discovery Center

8:10 – 8:20 – Parade through the halls

8:20 – 8:45 – Classroom Visits

Veterans will be assigned to a classroom

Students will be able to honor the Veteran and ask questions

8:45 – 9:15 – Reception for Veterans and their Families

Veterans are encouraged to wear their uniforms

Students, staff & families are invited to wear

red, white, & blue
